Because your time and the nutritionist's time are valuable, we have a few policies for missed, canceled and rescheduled appointments. Your nutritionist promises to attend each appointment at the scheduled time, and the expectations are the same for you!
Cancellation Policy: The client agrees to have the consultation with the nutritionist by phone at the agreed-upon time. Failure of the client to attend scheduled consultation will result in loss of the service for which he/she has paid unless the client phones or emails the nutritionist to cancel the appointment at least 24 hours before the scheduled consultation. (This condition may be waived in special circumstances or unexpected emergency situations.
However, waiving this condition and agreeing to reschedule the consultation is left entirely to the discretion of your dietitian/nutritionist. If client wishes to rebook, the client will pay the full fee of a session. Managed Plan clients will lose a session out of their 4 allotted appointments.
Late Policy: Clients who have scheduled individual services (i.e. initial nutrition assessment, follow-up session) will be contacted at the appointed time. Three attempts will be made to reach the member within five minutes before and after the appointed time and if no contact is made, that time is forfeited. Members may also call in 15 minutes after their appointed time has started to use any remaining time. If no attempt is made by the client, the appointment will be marked as a no show and will be counted as a session.
1. The customer purchased the $99 appointment and missed the call at the scheduled time. The customer will not be refunded.
2. The customer purchased the $99 appointment and requests to cancel less that 24 hours before the scheduled call. The customer will not be refunded.
3. The customer purchased the $99 appointment and requests to cancel with more than 24 hours notice. The customer will be given a full refund of the appointment.
4. The customer purchased Managed Plans and misses the first scheduled call. The customer will not get a refund for that call, and will only be able to reschedule call first appointment if nutritionist schedule allows.
