So first, breathe! For your first week, just glance over the foods you will be eating, and then try grocery shopping for those foods. That is the first step, and then take it another step by trying 1 or 2 of the meals on your plan. It’s not a race or a marathon, but a lifestyle. When you feel on edge, take a moment to tell yourself that is this food plan is your choice and it’s going to take time to get used to this change. Remind yourself the reasons of why committing to this lifestyle was important to you. Take a moment to find a quiet place and settle down for a few minutes so that you can find your mental balance again.
